Baked Brie In Puff Pastry

The holiday means spending quality time with friends and family. In this video, I will show you how to make an Easy Holiday Appetizer, a Brie En Croute Recipe. We are going to bake brie in a puff pastry.

Brie En Croute FAQ:

Do you take the rind off of brie cheese before baking?

A note regarding the rind: I did not cut the rind off before baking. It is perfectly harmless, and you don't detect it much after your brie is cooked. When I'm eating brie unbaked, I sometimes removed the rind purely because I don't take joy in it.

How do you eat brie en croute?

Brush the surface of the brie en croute with egg wash.

Add your favorite jam and nuts.

Wrap the brie en croute in a puff pastry.

Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Cool and serve: Relocate brie en croute to a clean work surface or serving tray and allow to cool down for 5-10 minutes. Serve with fruit party crackers and artisanal bread.

Can you reheat brie en croute?

Heating Leftover Brie En Croute.  If you have leftovers, you can loosely cover it in aluminum foil and heat it in a 350 ° F oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until the brie is drippy again and the puff pastry is hot.
