CNC Machined Parts

We use top-notch technology to bring custom CNC machining online. We work with an extensive network of manufacturing partners with over 1200 milling and turning machines, which means we always have the capacity and competitive prices. It also means we can produce complex prototypes and low-volume production runs of high precision machined parts in a broad range of metals and plastics and many surface finishes.

CNC Milling:
Compared with CNC turning, CNC milling, especially 5 axis milling, can create complex 3D shapes or apply a machined surface or features to parts made of both plastics and metals. The advantage of multi-axis machines makes the CNC milling process versatile, accurate, and repeatable for creating many different types of part features of complex geometries. Examples include holes, curves, slots, angled shapes, and channels. Milling is also ideal for making tooling for pressure die casting and plastic injection molding.

CNC Turning:
CNC lathes allow us to get high-speed turning of both plastics and metals from bar or block material. The turning process allows the production of complex external and internal geometries, including generating all kinds of threads for any round-shaped components, such as shafts
and spheres. Our turning capability can make prototypes through mass production parts.

Regardless of the manufacturing process used to create the end-use part, CNC machining is widely used by designers as a means of creating early and late-stage prototypes with short turnarounds times. CNC prototyping allows designers to iterate ideas without tooling costs or waiting times rapidly. It is one of the best ways to create a concept model and function prototype to verify the design. Compared with other rapid prototyping methods, rapid CNC machining allows us to get tight tolerance prototypes.
